At Nodera, we believe every young person deserves to feel safe, valued, and genuinely heard. Our home has been developed to meet some of Hampshire's most complex and unmet care needs — including young people with emotional and behavioural difficulties, complex mental health needs, and those subject to Deprivation of Liberty (DoL) orders.
We take a trauma-informed, relationship-based approach to care. Our small capacity of three places means each young person receives consistent, highly individualised support from a stable team who genuinely know and understand them.
We are currently in the process of completing our Ofsted registration and look forward to welcoming young people into our home once registration is approved.
Our Approach to Care
Every child who comes to Nodera arrives with their own history, strengths, and needs. We do not run a facility — we provide a specialist home. For many of the young people placed with us, this will be a placement of last resort: one that must hold firm, hold the young person, and provide the consistent relational environment that enables real therapeutic progress to begin.
Our team is trained in trauma-informed practice, and we prioritise building trusting, boundaried relationships as the foundation of everything we do — because children thrive when they feel both safe and genuinely cared for.
